Avery is a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Denver. She holds a previous master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology and brings a unique perspective that focuses on bridging the gap between mental skills training and mental health treatment.
Avery takes an integrative, individualized approach to therapy, drawing from psychodynamic, humanistic, and evidence-based perspectives to meet the unique needs of each client. She works with individuals across the lifespan experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, relational, and performance-related concerns.
Avery is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, navigate challenges with greater confidence, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. She values creating a warm, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel understood, respected, and empowered to grow.
